I've never really been fully sold on this 'blond' deal. Its stepping far out of my norm, which was always pale with dark hair, much like I am in real life. When I made the switch to blond I wanted some sort of drastic change, at the same time in real life having just cut my hair off to donate. What better way than to go from raven hair to blond? Hmmm. Will be playing with it a bit longer and will see if my Ls can handle the switch back after filling up on blond hairs.
The look, I love. Miel makes me happy, the top and scarf being theirs. Scarf removed for the 2nd picture, I'm so darn wishy washy I couldn't decide if I liked it on or not! The belt and shoes are Pixel Mode, I've gone a bit boot crazy lately. Jeans, if you've ever read anything else I've ever posted you could guess, drawmachine. Too typical of me, but I almost forgot how to do this 'blogging' stuff! Thoughts for the new year are a completely new look, and more frequent postings. When I say a new look, thats all blog and av. 'Dina' is getting a bit stale, boring, same ole same ole and I need new, exciting, crazy. Hmmm, perhaps!
On a completely different topic, from the av to the game that is, I actually logged in for the first time on a new viewer. Imagine that! However, this is going to take a lot of getting used to. Nothing is where it should be and this took me way longer than usual! I do rather like it, but don't quote me on that.

When the designer of Mischief had her sale a couple of months ago, with the announcement that she would be moving on to something new, I cant help but admit a small sadness at the end of Mischief. Even though its been moved on somewhere else, without Janie its just not the same Mischief I spent the last few years in SL filling my inventory with. I recently found her new store, JANE, and started a
new folder to fill with her designs! I've spent time landscaping my new sim and thought it would be best to spend fall with JANE!

I know, its been upward of three months since I last blogged. I didn't even realized I missed it until I started doing this post. A lot of the time change comes in unexpectedly, and is often unwelcome. Then again, there are times when a drastic change is exactly what you need. I needed this one, and I actually love it. Shopped, of course, until I dropped at the Armidi sale, picked up a new LAQ skin and went as blond as they come. Somehow it changes how I feel when I log in my AV. Oh I will still use my raven or red hairs, but this new, light, carefree me is far over due.

I got into this nasty habit when I log into SL, I go and check on bunnies (don't judge me!) and then I log out and into my working av. Thats it. Thats what I've been doing. I have things to blogged just filling a folder, an inventory that has been neglected and an av that would really like to change her clothing. However, this is what I've been living in. I love this dress, by Mischief, lets me be sassy the little bit of time I get to be on as me!
Something else I mentioned on my plurk page, location location location! I got really lazy for a while and stayed in my studio for all of my pics. I like to explore, so I will try and get some time in for that too. This was taken at the

Saturdays are a good day for bargains in Second Life, at least from a handful of designers that participate in the Super Bargain Saturday and set out an item for 60L. Today this vintage trunk, by Awesome Blossom, will be out for you to sneak by and grab. It comes with six poses (one shown below) and is so fabulously made, it found a place in my new home. A year ago I didn't even need the folder that this jacket has been organized into. I had a lacking of jackets, sweaters and coats, but I love that Pink Outfitters just released this awesome little Military Jacket. We all know by now that I am prim adjustment deprived half the time, so I was even more in love with this piece because all it took was a bit of stretching, and it was perfect. Perfect I say! First entry with the new Belleza skin, and after having decided to go red headed instead of my traditional raven hair. I almost went blond, but this adds just that much more sass. Because, I needed more. I did! Just ask my...ok never mind.

So...the girls and I have decided to have a Spring Cleaning sale. No, I haven't started creating things in SL again, mainly because I'm just no good at it! I have, however, been reminded why I need to get rid of some of the older transferable stuff that I own. I just cannot let my inventory break 50k again, and even with this sale I have a vast amount of items I want to *give* away in the future!
Today however, its time for that Spring Cleaning
and a
[42] skin sale! What?! Oh yes, thats right, one of us happens to be the skin creator from [42]! Mandy closed her shop for a while, but for this weekend only her skins will be available at my Asylum Grand Illusion location. This includes her Series 1 that will be retired! I talked her into bringing them in world again for the next three days until I move from this location to a new one (again, I know, hush).
Kerra and I dont have a creative bone in our body when it comes to clothing and skins and such, so we dug deep and brought out some of our things that we know we will just never use. This includes items from Mischief, Nyte-N-Day, and best of all, Dazzle. Yes! I am parting ways with even more of my Dazzle items! I've been giving them to friends and these are the last pieces I think I can part with, for now that is. I hate to see things wasting away in my inventory and you just cant get these items easily anymore.

SySy's will be releasing this amazing dress soon, and I was thrilled to be on when the sneak peek showed up and it begged to be blogged. This is exactly the look I've needed the last week with the warmer weather that showed up, a full week after snowing! Go figure, living up north is an adventure to be sure. See, my av was good this winter, still fits in her bikinis! Now the hard part? Choosing one! The designer over at EmJay makes this even harder by having a huge selection of bikini's, one to fit almost every taste you could possibly have! Different patterns, color palates and each one fabulous! These are just two of my favorites, looking forward to hitting the beaches this summer, now if only the rain would go away.

I've been struggling with a lot of prim, sculpted skirts, lately and have ended up with a folder called 'sculpted for small shapes' folder in my skirts! Just in case I make a shape it will fit, of course, because I hate wasting my lindens on items I will never use. Especially when they looked so darn good in their ad. Which brings up another struggle, ads being so worked up you are unable to tell what you are really buying anymore. I will be featuring more designers that have their ads true to their work here this week, so keep an eye out for them. What you see is what you get is fabulous to me! Here is an example of a sculpted skirt that works, and I didn't have to mod my shape one bit. Thank you Lark!

It's days like today that make me painfully aware that spring is nowhere in sight! I did, however, do a little bit of shopping and found this awesome sweater by my favorite boot maker (go figure) Kitties Lair. The boots are a 50L friday item by Kookie while the rest was dug up out of my inventory. Its comfy, its warm, and exactly what I would wear when stomping out through the snow. No more storms though, deal?
